36 Days of Type

Discipline: Custom Type

I made it happen after putting it off for ages (dare I say years?) and completed #36daysoftype08 (2021). The brief: Design a custom letterform for each letter of the alphabet each day. What I (re)learnt:

→ limits are great for creativity, sticking to 30min per letter including the mock-ups was super productive
→ I love to indulge in my affinity for brutalist design, and will do more of this again.
→ I can totally break the mould and not do just round and feminine logos.
→ Play is a vital part of my practice, and so liberating.
→ I still swear a lot when I get excited.
→ I still f*n love black and white design a lot.
